I Found My Old Blog. So, Here We Are.
I wasn't looking for this.
Somewhere between reconsidering what I wanted my website to be and deciding that I wanted something a little less polished, a little more personal, and a lot more me, I stumbled across a blog I started more than a decade ago.
There I was.
Writing about business, motherhood, community, ambition, ideas and whatever else had my attention at the time.
And then, apparently, I stopped.
A lot has happened since.
My career has taken me through entrepreneurship, innovation, economic development, community building and places I couldn't have anticipated when I wrote those early posts. I've built things. Led things. Changed my mind about things. Learned some things the hard way. And, thankfully, I'm still curious.
So I'm not starting a new blog.
I'm picking up an old conversation.
This time, I'm giving myself a little more room.
There will be thoughts about business and economic development because that's part of my world. But there will also be places, people, culture, leadership, creativity, things I'm learning, things I'm questioning, and probably the occasional beautiful distraction.
I'm not entirely sure what this will become.
I rather like that.
Welcome back.
